2023 - Three Fundraisers

West End and Broadway Show, organised by The Rotary Club of Rushden In April.

Glenis Haynes is a volunteer and friend of the BHA who as the International Chairman of The Rotary Club of Rushden arranged a wonderful musical evening. Showcasing some of the most iconic songs from the West End and Broadway shows, performed by Jonathan Reynolds, Alexis Spillane, Tracey Holderness and John Simpson.

The evening in April raised a magnificent £1,318.00 which paid for the safety wall and fencing installed around the Fish Ponds to protect staff member’s children, who live within the grounds of the hospital, from falling in.

Open Gardens’ in Orlingbury

The residents in Anita’s home village of Orlingbury had an open garden weekend on the only weekend when it wasn’t raining in June. Anita, to her great surprise, was confronted by Brenda and Paul Kelly from Lincolnshire who travelled 60 miles to come and meet Anita. They have been supporters of the BHA for over 26 years. It was so nice for Anita to be able to thank them personally for their long and loyal support.

The open gardens raised £600 for BHA and £600 for St Mary’s Church in Orlingbury.

West End Magic Came to Orlingbury in September

An amazing evening was had by all as we listened  to songs from the most iconic shows in the West End. Jonathan Reynolds, Alexis Spillane, Trace Holderness and John Simpson blew us away with their performances.

This joint venture in September was to raise funds for Bansang Hospital and The Orlingbury Village Hall that is suffering as a consequence of its increased running costs.

A total of £1,646.00 was raised and equally shared between BHA and the Village Hall
