  • 2018 - Invitation for Anita to attend a Gala dinner in Banjul in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.
  • 2018 - Form Nutrition Directors, Damian and Natalie and film crew visit BHA to make videos to support their extraordinary involvment in the welfare of patients.
  • 2016 - Recognition as a 'Goodwill Ambassador' for operation 'Save the Children Foundation'.
  • 2015 - British Ambassador Colin Crokrin and Former British High Commisioner and BHA Patron Phil Sinkinson visit the hospital.
  • 2014 - International Maternal and Child Healthcare include 'management non clinical support facilities' using Anita's expertise on the subject.
  • 2014 - BPEC, British Plumbing & Employees Council award Anita with a 'Legacy Award'; the first to ever be awarded.

  • 2013 - Simon Scarrow, best selling International author, becomes a Patron of the BHA. Simon continues to be an extraordinary supporter of my work in Bansang.
  • 2013 - Phil Sinkinson, British High Commisioner, becomes a Patron of the BHA, Phil continues to be an extraordinary supporter of my work in Bansang.
  • 2013 - BPEC, British Plumbing Employees Council award Anita with a 'Life Award'.
  • 2011 - Book 'Sky Hawk' written by Gill Lewis was inspired by my work at the Bansang Hospital.
  • 2009 - MRG, presented by the President of the Republic of The Gambia
  • 2008 - MBE, presented by HRH Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace.
  • 2008 - Included in a book written by Ingrid Newkirk ' One Can Make A Difference'. Anita was in good company as she was alongside features on Paul McCartney, His Holliness The Dalai Lama, Martina Navratilova and Oliver Stone to name just a few.
  • 2006 - Saga magazine feature that included Anita '21st Century Action Women'.
  • 2006 - Anita made a guest appearance on the Libby Pervis show on BBC Radio 4.
  • 2006 - Pride of Northamptonshire, runner up.
  • 2005 - BBC TV returned and made a documentary about the opening of the new 80 bed childrens unit
  • 2005 - Pride of Northamptonshire, winner.
  • 2005 - Scooters In The Safari made their first trip to BHA delivering C90 scooters and medical aid. These remarkable trips continued until 2016, delivering scooters to be used by medical staff visiting outlying districts.
  • 2004 - BBC TV sent a film crew and made a documentary.
  • 2004 - Daily Telegraph 'Beacon Prize', highly commended.
  • 2003 - Daily Telegraph 'Beacon Prize', highly commended.
  • 1998 - Paul Harris Fellowship award from the Rotary Club of Kettering.
