Plumber and long-term BHA volunteer Nick Foley has been an instrumental part of the maintenance project for a number of years now. It was under his guidance that the BHA secured the wonderful support of the British Plumbing Employers Council (BPEC). Their funding allowed us to push forward with a hospital wide sanitation project – which is already making a huge difference to the wellbeing of our patients.

It was therefore a real privilege to accompany Nick and his son Kane on their August visit to the hospital. Their staff training programme is helping ensure that the BPEC funded sanitation infrastructure will be sustained long into the future.
