Adventure news: Anita and team make it through Nouakchott – and are now camping in the Saharan dunes

Latest location: 2 hours north of Nouakchott, Mauritania.

“Now north of Noukachott and not a single problem. Camped up in sand dunes. About 2 hours to get through border but no bribes this time. Lots of police/army checkpoints which is making us feel very safe and secure. Should hopefully be in Western Sahara by tomorrow night. Wonderful sunset and a huge full moon overhead. Now sitting watching the stars rise in a velvet sky. Mum is thoroughly enjoying herself (so far!) and sends lots of love. Best wishes from us all. Dennis”

Anita and team are due back in the UK on the 20th April. If you are enjoying reading about their adventure, please feel free to share these entries with others using the ‘share/save’ button below. You can also receive this and other Bansang Hospital Appeal news direct to your email inbox.
