This major refurbishment of the Male Ward was made possible by funding raised by Rotary Clubs of Brentwood à Becket, Seaford, Hadleigh Castle, Billericay, Billericay Mayflower, Kelvdon & District, and Bishops Stortford, the remaining funding came from friends of the BHA.
