Thank you for taking the time to visit the online home of the Bansang Hospital Appeal. We are a small charity based in Northamptonshire, England. Since 1992, we have been supporting the wonderful staff of Bansang Hospital – helping them to deliver exceptional care outcomes for the 600,000 Sub-Saharan Africans who depend upon this critical healthcare resource.

We believe the story of Bansang Hospital is unique. Working within financial constraints that would have seen western healthcare systems crumble and fail, Bansang Hospital has instead fought back from the despair that was all pervading in 1992. Today, it has near 100% staff retention, and is making exceptional progress towards the Millenium Development Goals for health.
